Ted Haggard back as a "'heterosexual but with issues"

Oh lord. The former leader of the National Association of Evangelicals, Ted Haggard, claims he's a "heterosexual but with issues." This is the same Ted Haggard, as you'll recall, in 2006 was found to have solicitated a male prostitute and bought some crystal meth from him.

Maybe calling this tragic is overstating it a bit, but I think there is an element of tragedy here. Haggard cannot be who he is-- a homosexual-- because everything he was taught about God and religion tells him it's wrong and immoral. I feel bad for the guy. I really do.
