I didn't post today because it's been a busy day, and the holiday is coming up so I thought I'd take a break. But this pretty horrific news got me to blog once today:NEW DELHI — Coordinated terror attacks struck the heart of Mumbai, India’s commercial capital, Wednesday night, killing dozens in machine-gun and grenade assaults on at least two five-star hotels, the city’s largest train station, a movie theater and a hospital.
Mumbai police control room said at least 75 people had died and 240 injured, according to preliminary reports.
Awful stuff. What strikes me is how brazen this is. No one seems to know who did this, but I'll be curious to find out. Is it a crazy Hindu extremist group? Or Islamic terrorist? The second one scares me more, maybe because its threat is bigger to the United States.
